Prysmian's commitment for Indonesia
In line with the business expansion in Asian Region, Prysmian officially
launched an enlarging of its own operation in Indonesia through the expansion of the production
site at Cikampek, West Java.
With total investment of US$ 4 Million the new investment will absorb around
51of local employees, in addition to the already 125. This investment will allow Prysmian to
significantly enlarge its own product portfolio in the Indonesia Operation, addressing the growing
Oil & Gas and Telecommunication local industry and investments.
Adopting the spirit of “Environment Friendly”, this site is designed to meet standard of
safety, health and preserving environment.
In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of PT Prysmian Cables Indonesia
would like to prove its long term commitment to deliver the best quality products and have a social
responsibility as well to help surrounding by launching 'The Corporate Responsibility Program' that
consists of:
1. School Renovation
The school is located about 10 km from our premises. PT Prysmian Cables Indonesia renovates
some parts of the school building such as the floor, the windows, the doors, the ceiling and the
roof.
2. Water for public needs
We have initiative to provide the well behind the school to cover the needs of sanitation
for the pupils, teachers and principal and also the villagers at the surrounding area.
