PRYSMIAN TO PRESENT STATE-OF-THE-ART POWER CABLE PORTFOLIO
AT MIDDLE EAST ELECTRICITY 2009
Prysmian confirms the Middle East as a strategic region for its business growth and will be
presenting at the Middle East Electricity Exhibition (Dubai, 8-10th February) the important
projects that it’s carrying out in the Region along with the most recent innovations in the power
cables and systems sector. At Prysmian’s booth
(Stand ZE20, Za Abeel Hall), visitors will be able to learn about the Company’s
broad range of state-of-the-art power cables, including Plant & Petrochem Cables, HV &
Submarine Cables and the FP® range of fire resistant cables. Prysmian’s business executives will
also hold an exclusive seminar entitled, “
The right partner for the Power Industry throughout the Middle East”, at 10.00am
on Tuesday 10 February in the Al Wasl Room.
In the Middle East region, Prysmian has offices and facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi (UAE),
Doha (Qatar), Manama (Bahrain) and Kuwait. The company is currently involved in important projects,
such as the submarine power link between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, with the GCCIA (Gulf Cooperation
Council Interconnection Authority), the Doha Bay Crossing (submarine interconnection) and the
Kahramaa Phase VIII (High Voltage Power Transmission) in Qatar; the Fujairah (UAE); Pearl GTL, the
large scale Oil and Gas project started in 2006 in Qatar, Ras Laffan Gasfield Downstream
