30 | Prysmian Group I N S I G H T DOING BUSINESS The DolWin5 Project continues the valued long- time relationship of Prysmian Group with major TSO TenneT . It also demonstrates our ability to provide tailor-made submarine cable solutions for challenging projects, by delivering the offshore infrastructure needed to support the growth of clean energy in Northern Europe. The turnkey connections will link the converter platform DolWin Epsilon, located approximately 100 kmoffshore in the German North Sea, to themainland Emden/Ost converter station. A global contract to supply wind turbine tower and nacelle cables and assemblies was signed by Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, world leader in the wind power industry, and Prysmian Group . The award reaffirms both companies long and solid history of partnership in the wind industry and is an important step in increasing current and future growth opportunities. The supply includes products and services from Prysmian Group’s wind portfolio of low voltage cables and assemblies for nacelle platforms, low voltage cables for towers and fully terminated medium voltage assemblies for towers. In 2019 the Group has been awarded with several projects like Provence Grand Large, VineyardWind, DolWin 5 and Hollandse Kust Zuid III and IV. Thanks toagloballywidespreadproduction footprint, Prysmian Group is well positioned to support the supply and delivery of products to Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, namely from manufacturing units located in Europe, Asia and North America.
