the prysmian Group is active in the design, development,
production, supply and installation of terrestrial and
submarine cables and systems operating at high and
ultra-high voltages for the transmission of electricity,
industrial cables for applications in various sectors
(from oil, Gas & petrochemicals to transport, mining and
renewable energy installations), and optical cables for
the transmission of voice, video and data.
Quality and innovation are the hallmarks of prysmian's
approach, both in sectors where the level of technology,
the ability to innovate constantly and the commitment
to offering high value-added services together establish
a differentiated competitive positioning, and in those
sectors where products are more standardised, such as
medium and low-voltage cables. the Group is organised
into two operating sectors: energy and telecom.
