Prysmian will build the interconnection between Syros island
(Cyclades) and the Greek mainland power transmission system
in Lavrion. The project will provide a turn-key high-voltage
alternating current cable system along a total route of more than
110km, thus interconnecting the island of Syros to the Greek
national power transmission system. It also envisages a future
expansion to other Cyclades islands (Paros, Mykonos, Tinos).
