33. RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS
Transactions between Prysmian S.p.A. and its subsidiaries
and associates mainly refer to:
• trade relations involving intercompany purchases and sales
of raw materials and finished goods;
• services (technical, organisational and general) provided by
head office to subsidiaries worldwide;
• financial relations maintained by Group treasury companies
on behalf of, and with, Group companies.
The disclosures of related party transactions also include the
compensation paid to Directors, Statutory Auditors and Key
Management Personnel.
All the above transactions form part of the Group’s continuing
operations.
The following tables summarise related party transactions in the years ended 31 December 2013 and 31 December 2012:
