PRYSMIAN: FESTIVITIES OF LIGHT AND SOLIDARITY
This year, Prysmian is lighting up the holidays with a special project that combines tradition and solidarity. In addition to the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza San Fedele, illuminations along Viale Fulvio Testi up to the tower overlooking the Bicocca headquarters and a video inspired by the famous Milanese saying “Milano l'è semper un gran Milan”, Prysmian will undertake an important solidarity initiative.
This year's light installations aim to connect the Bicocca district to the center of Milan, creating a path of light that unites the city and its people. During the holiday season, Prysmian will make a significant donation to support the less fortunate, helping families in need, improving their quality of life, and bringing a bit of light into the homes of those living in difficult situations.
The donations will be allocated to two entities:
- “Banco dell’Energia”, a foundation established with the goal of implementing projects related to combating energy poverty in order to support individuals and families in economic and social hardship.
- “La casa di Elena”, a parent-child educational community that caters to mothers and minors in difficulty, whose community placement is ordered by orders of the Judicial Authority deputed to juvenile protection.
Maria Cristina Bifulco, Chief Investor Relations, Sustainability and Communication Officer, Prysmian, said: "The holiday season is a time of sharing and solidarity, and we are happy to contribute to helping those in need, hoping that through this contribution we work to make their Christmas a little brighter."
This gesture reflects Prysmian's core values, which have always been committed to promoting innovation and sustainability, not only through its products and services but also through initiatives aimed at improving the lives of people and communities. With this effort, Prysmian actively commits to building a better and more equitable future for all, contributing with solidarity and social responsibility initiatives.
