Corporate Knights’ Europe 50 Most Sustainable Corporations
Prysmian has been included in Corporate Knights’ inaugural ranking of Europe’s 50 Most Sustainable Corporations, placing third amongst Italian companies. Corporate Knights, an independent organization with over 20 years of experience in sustainability assessments, evaluates companies based on more than 20 metrics, including carbon emissions, energy use, diversity, and executive compensation. This recognition reinforces Prysmian’s ambition to lead in its sector and beyond through innovation and measurable sustainability performance.
Prysmian inclusion in 2025 Sustainability Yearbook
Prysmian has also been included in the Thought Leadership & Sustainability Yearbook 2025 by S&P Global, a renowned publication that celebrates companies excelling in sustainability leadership, one of 13 Italian companies recognized this year. Through its rigorous Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), S&P Global thoroughly evaluates a company’s environmental, social, and governance performance - assessments that form the foundation of the highly respected Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), spotlighting the very best in global sustainable business practices.
Maria Cristina Bifulco, Chief Investor Relations, Sustainability and Communication Officer at Prysmian, said: “These recognitions from Corporate Knights and S&P Global confirm Prysmian’s position as one of the world’s most committed and credible sustainability leaders. Both reflect not only our progress in sustainability performance, but also the strength of our long-term strategy, our investments in innovation, and the daily efforts of our teams worldwide. As we accelerate towards our 2028 and 2035 goals, we remain determined to lead the way, delivering measurable impact for the planet, our people, and future generations.”
These acknowledgements align with Prysmian’s long-term sustainability goals, including its targets to reach 55% of revenues from sustainable solutions by 2028, achieve Net Zero by 2035, and deliver a Net Gain approach in biodiversity within this same timeframe.
