Our Climate Transition Plan sets out the roadmap to achieve Prysmian’s Net Zero ambition by 2035. It translates our climate strategy into concrete actions across our operations, supply chain, product innovation, customer partnerships, financial planning and governance. The plan focuses not only on reducing Scope 1 and 2 emissions from our own operations, but also on addressing Scope 3 emissions, which represent the most material part of our carbon footprint and are strongly linked to raw materials and the use phase of our products.
This approach reflects Prysmian’s belief that climate transition cannot be separated from industrial strategy. Decarbonization, innovation and competitiveness must progress together. Prysmian intends to help create a more sustainable energy system through science-based targets, investments in low-carbon technologies, increased use of recycled and low-carbon materials, solutions designed to reduce power losses, and collaboration with suppliers and customers.
The Climate Transition Plan is designed as a dynamic framework, to be reviewed over time as technologies, markets, regulations and climate methodologies evolve. It reinforces Prysmian’s commitment to transparency, accountability and long-term value creation, while recognizing that delivering Net Zero requires collective action across the energy value chain.
