With these words, Hakan Ozmen opened the first Projects BU Supplier Event entirely dedicated to HSE issues, which took place on 7 November at Prysmian’s Milan headquarters, and was attended by more than 100 participants, including suppliers and key customers, which presented their visions and their most significant case histories within the industry.

At the event, speeches and presentations mainly focused on Prysmian’s strong HSE commitment, actual needs and major expectations. In engaging Prysmian’s Stakeholders on these fundamental topics, the Prysmian Projects BU presented its strategy’s main pillars:

  • Increasing top management engagement in HSE issues;

  • Increasing supervision on onshore and offshore sites;

  • Releasing a new set of HSE requirements for Prysmian and its partners;

  • Increasing the focus on the environment and its respect.

“I wish the name of today’s event "WORKING SAFELY IS THE ONLY OPTION" to be a daily call-to-action for all of us and a concept able to drive and influence our actions and those of our industry, also beyond business boundaries,” stated Alessandra Gavazzi, Quality and HSE Manager of Prysmian Projects BU at the end of the event.
