PASSION (How we drive our work day to day)

The spark that makes us Prysmian

Fueled by passion. Powered by Passion.

We take ownership and deliver with energy, commitment, and pride — the challenges that we face require the very best.

Passion means bringing energy, commitment, and pride to our work. It is the determination to take ownership of outcomes, to remain consistent over time, and deliver results with care, quality, and responsibility. Passion is visible in how we show up every day: staying engaged under pressure, and being accountable when challenges arise, giving our best not only when conditions are favorable, but when resilience, effort, and perseverance are required. Through Passion, we transform effort into impact and commitment into lasting results.

An individual contributor…

1. owns outcomes end to end

What it looks like: Takes accountability for completing what is expected, with attention to quality. Example: Flags a delivery risk early, proposes a solution, and continues to monitor until the issue is resolved.

2. shows courage when it matters

What it looks like: Steps up during peak moments to protect delivery, safety, or customer impact. Example: Volunteers to support a critical deadline or stays engaged to fix a defect before release.

3. brings constructive energy and pride

What it looks like: Stays engaged, resilient, excited and solution oriented under pressure. Example: During a difficult phase, keeps communication calm and focused, helping everyone stay motivated.

A manager…

1. sets direction and enables strong delivery

What it looks like: Clarifies priorities, sets the challenge, removes obstacles, and makes sure commitments are realistic and owned. Example: Realigns workload, secures missing resources, and ensures the team knows what “good” looks like.

2. recognizes merit and reinforces motivation

What it looks like: Celebrates achievements and gives continuous, fair feedback to sustain engagement. Example: Highlights a team win in a meeting and gives specific feedback on what made it successful.

3. leads with resilience in difficult moments

What it looks like: Maintains composure, protects the team from noise, communicates constantly, and stays accountable when things go wrong. Example: In a setback, focuses the team on recovery actions and learning, instead of blame.

An executive…

1. role models accountability and commitment

What it looks like: Takes ownership for outcomes and demonstrates consistency between words and actions. Example: Acknowledges a strategic miss to the team, explains the corrective path, and follows through.

2. channels energy toward strategic priorities

What it looks like: Keeps focus on what creates value, inspiring new ideas and challenges at the same time. Example: Stops low value initiatives to free capacity for the few priorities that matter most.

3. builds a sustainable performance culture

What it looks like: Creates conditions where commitment is supported through systems, capability, and recognition. Example: Invests in development and recognition mechanisms so delivery excellence does not depend on “heroics”.
