TEAMPLAY (How we collaborate)

One team. One vision. / Together, we go further.

We work with trust and openness to achieve shared results, succeeding together across teams, countries, and cultures.

Teamplay means working with trust and openness to achieve shared results — succeeding together across different teams, countries, and cultures. It is the ability to collaborate beyond boundaries, share responsibility for outcomes, and value different perspectives in pursuit of a common goal. Teamplay is part of how we communicate, how we support one another, and how we put collective success ahead of individual wins.

An individual contributor…

1. collaborates across boundaries

What it looks like: Works effectively within the team and across other teams and stakeholders to achieve shared outcomes. Example: Involves Finance / Operations early to align constraints, rather than handing work over at the end.

2. shares knowledge openly

What it looks like: Exchanges information proactively so others can act faster and better. Example: Documents key takeaways after a project and shares a short “what we learned / what to reuse” note.

3. supports colleagues and strengthens the team atmosphere

What it looks like: Helps others succeed and contributes to positive, respectful collaboration, with constructive feedback, dialogue and celebration of success. Example: Offers help a colleague overcome an obstacle, and gives constructive feedback to improve their joint effort.

A manager…

1. strengthens the way we work together

What it looks like: Clarifies roles, handoffs, and decision points to prevent friction and wasted effort. Example: Establishes shared routines (check ins, escalation paths, decision rights) across teams.

2. builds trust-based relationships

What it looks like: Strengthens collaboration through fairness, listening, and transparency in decisions, focusing on team member growth and development. Example: Explains the rationale behind choices; provides developmental opportunities to team members; delegates decisions.

3. manages conflict constructively

What it looks like: Effectively addresses conflicts and facilitates solutions without personalizing disagreements. Example: When priorities clash, a manager brings stakeholders together, clarifies trade offs, and drives a shared agreement.

An executive…

1. promotes broad collaboration

What it looks like: Removes barriers and reinforces “One Prysmian” across geographies and functions. Example: Sponsors cross-regional initiatives and ensures collaboration is recognized, not penalized.

2. makes Prysmian-first decisions

What it looks like: Chooses what will benefit the group overall, not what will optimize a single area. Example: Aligns investments and resources to maximize total value, even if a single function is forced to adapt.

3. invests in collective capability and networks

What it looks like: Builds a leadership pipeline, and systems that make teamwork scalable. Example: Supports cross functional leadership programs and supports growth opportunities to build talent.
